BASKETBALL SHOOTING & SKILLS DEVELOPMENT

Ages 10 - 15  |  8:30am - 3pm  |  $330

Campers don't have to take themselves too seriously in order to benefit from this skills camp — we will still have lots of fun! They will enjoy working hard and challenging their existing self-beliefs in order to improve their skills. This camp will focus on great shot selections, different types of shots, left-hand and right-hand layups, and in-game situations while improving campers' overall basketball IQ. Each day we will track the progress of each camper so they can have an overall understanding of how they can continue to grow. Certificates will be given to each participant at the end of the camp.

FARM CAMP I

Ages 10-13  |  8:30am - 3pm  |  $330

Campers will have fun working the farm in the coolness of the morning. They will work in the garden and care for the farm's chickens, goats, and sheep. In the afternoons, campers will make nature crafts or cook with seasonal produce and herbs, including their own harvest! Come be a farmer for a week!

Kristin McGee runs the farm at the Emerson Waldorf School and teaches farming and gardening classes for grades 1-8. She loves sharing the beauty of the farm and snuggling the farm animals.

DESIGN AND PLAY MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS

Ages 8-12  |  8:30am - 3pm  |  $330

Anything can turn into a musical instrument when you use your imagination! Led by music educator and violist Elias ‘Mr. G’ Gross, students in this camp will create their own musical instruments while learning about wind, percussion, and string instruments, exploring musical foundations of pitch and rhythm, and playing together as an ensemble. Students will design and create instruments from recycled materials representing instruments from each instrument family of the orchestra. No musical experience is required to join this band! Students will present an informal concert at the end of camp and take home all of their creations.

OUTDOOR SURVIVAL SKILLS —> FULL

Ages 8-12  |  8:30am - 3pm  |  $330

Campers will master fundamental techniques such as building shelters, purifying water, and navigating through the wilderness. Engaging hands-on activities will empower participants to start their own fires, identify edible plants, and even create basic tools. As they explore the rugged terrain, campers will develop resilience, teamwork, and self-reliance...and of course how to survive the zombie apocalypse.
